George and Maria planned to have a simple outdoor wedding at a park, but when the weather turned sour we had to find and indoor option fast. Luckily, Reverend Torres, who I work with often was able to call the chalet at the park and get them to agree to let us in even though they weren’t open at the time! It gave them a pretty landscape as a backdrop but kept everyone warm and dry. Their intimate ceremony is the new beginning for both Maria and her son, who came from South America just the day prior to the wedding. I hope they enjoy their time in Alaska and they all grow together as a new family.
