Scout’s momma contacted me about doing a combination session for newborn and family portraits, which thought was a wonderful idea. On the day of their session, Scout’s big brother, Brodie was a great helper as we set up for Scout’s pictures and was ready to share his opinions on which props we should use. Little Scout sensed something was different and refused to go to sleep, although she did a pretty good impersonation at one point. She was an excellent model for the adorable outfits her momma had picked out, which we paired with a few with headbands I’d made and some her mom had ready. After Scout had let us know she’d had enough of being in the spotlight we packed up and headed a few streets over from their house to an open area near a lake for their family pictures just in time to catch the late fall colors at sunset. This sweet young family was such fun to photograph and I look forward to working with them again in the future.
