Rick and Caroline planned a simple and intimate wedding in Girdwood between their alternating shifts on the slope and wanted a few photos to remember the occasion. Although there wasn’t any snow yet it was quite chilly out, but that didn’t stop us from getting some lovely sunset portraits at the Alyeska Resort where they were staying. Afterwards, Caroline stopped in the hotel’s Starbucks to warm up before we headed to nearby Girdwood Chapel for the ceremony. A romantic compilation of songs the bride had put together was played as they said their vows and sealed their union, then they moved to a side room to cut their cake and enjoy a toast from the chapel’s pastor. It was a lovely event which showcased their love and their desire to be united. I wish them many years of happiness!
