Paul and Kat contacted me from Oklahoma City to arrange photos of their simple nuptials here in Alaska during a trip to visit Paul’s uncle. They were looking for a location that would provide beautiful scenery and originally chose the Eagle River Nature Center, but once they were in the area and saw the view at Bird Point they knew that was the perfect location for their wedding. With just myself, the officiant and their uncle attending, changing venues wasn’t an issue and they were blessed with beautiful blue skies for their “I Do’s”. They exchanged vows in a short ceremony on one of the overlook decks and then we did a few quick portraits around the area. I truly enjoy small weddings like this because the focus is on the relationship between the bride and groom. Congratulations Paul & Kat, may you be blessed with a long and happy marriage.
